Development of a FileMaker Pro project can start from an existing template or a pre-built package. For larger systems, especially where networks or web-access is anticipated it is often better to start afresh. This is because some functionality can be complicated when trying to embed it across an already existing structure.

The Development Process

1. Once an outline of the database structure is agreed upon then an obligation-free proposal detailing the solution and options is produced by LandBase.

2. Demos will be made accessible for your appraisal at different stages, usually via the web. Demonstrating progress online and live is possible using nothing more than a regular web-browser.
Most, but not all, of the functionality and visuals can be examined remotely in this way.
This affords direct and immediate consultation over any detail without undue travel or interruption of business. Other demonstration approaches are possible.

3. In-service testing and adjustment is an option that most customers like included in their agreement. Several weeks after its final installation the database users get to have any features, layouts or visuals adjusted to better suit the new work styles that may have arisen once they have become familiar with it, and the software has normalised into their work-flow.
