Sim Theme Park builds on the original in
some respects, but in my opinion some of these changes degrade the game play.
For example, you never pick the country you want to building, I was
never able to auction my park and the staff never went on strike.
Also they isn't as much customizability with everything. But
ignoring these facts the game has other qualities which may make it
better for you. It has 4 world types Halloween, Future, Fantasy and
the Dinosaur one. Each has different rides but they are the same as
other rides in the other parks. I.e. You may have a carnival wheel
in one park, but in another the equivalent is the sun god. This is
all fine and well, but I still don't think they should have removed
what I mentioned earlier. With 2 types of simulation available Real
and Arcade. I only played real but I cant imagine how limited the
arcade simulation of it would have been. None the less, forgetting
all this wishes, the game is fun and has a full 3d engine. From
which you ban build your park from any angle, you can also zoom in
and out. And you can also become a visitor at your own park. Being
able to walk around it, and ride any of the rides you wish to.
Having no multiplayer brings the score down a little. But as its
still a fun game it still scores highly.
