Battlezone adds a new
perspective to a almost full and conquered genre. It adds many great
visuals, great weapons and a whole fix of fun missions.
To start off with
Battlezone offers a slew of missions based over several vastly
different landscapes. You'll travel to the Moon, Mars, Venus and 4
other intriguing planets.
You'll play as either the Americans
or the soviets in a space war. Both factions smuggled vast armies
into space without anyone knowing.
The visuals are great, its
a altered genre now. One of the first Strategy games to be played
out in full 3D.
Possibly the biggest
difference is the fact that you are one man. And you command from
his point of view. If you die. You're a gonna. This isn't no command
room battle briefing. You're right in with the action.
You give orders and all
from this lowdown perspective. Not only does this add depth and make
the game different from the rest it also manages to mix action in
with strategy.
Once you've beaten the
computer helpless your friends and internet pals should be up for a
challenge to the death. Who shall win?
The sounds are right there too, you hear
the orders, the responses and all. You're the commander of a huge
army, or small one for now.
