             Baldur's Gate is what
Diablo was during its time in the hall of fame. An excellent
addition to the Role Playing Genre, that adds color and life to an
            old and tiring genre. |

             As with all good Role
Playing games you are seated in a isometric view. To polish it off
the graphics are very nice and so are the different climates.   |

             It can be rainy one
moment and sunny the next. The sounds are also something to be proud
of, you hear everything and see everything. From the music in |

             the inns to the rain
outside. As with all good Role Playing games Baldur's Gate has a
fair amount of game play to it. As you will imagine as soon as you
            see the 5 CD's   |

it comes on. In the beginning
you roll up your character with skill. If you want to play straight
away like I did, you'll no doubt end up with a weak character. But
            if you stick |

with it and spend a good
10 - 30 minutes just rolling the dice for your characters statistics
you should have a good character. You can pick up helpers along
            the   |

             way. The first of them
being Emiln whom you pick up the next morning after your fathers
death. Shortly up the road you can pick up another 2 friends.   |

             There is alot to this
game. As with your character class. You can be a thief, warrior,
mage or what ever. As well as your type. Evil, Good, Chaotic Good,
            Chaotic Evil   |

             etc. The interface of
Baldur's Gate is also quite easy to use. A little hard to get used
to at first but you'll soon get to grips with it. After the first 40
            minutes you should be   |

             hooked. You'll then have
to play through the game until you reach the end. Which should take
you a fair amount of time. After which you can play right through
            the game |

             again with a different
character class and alignment. And it'll be like a whole new game.
You also have the internet at your side for online adventures. |
