Earth 2150 is the sequel
to the original Earth 2140 but that is where it ends. Earth 2140 is
that flop of a Command and Conquer clone. Earth 2150 is a completely
different story and an also almost unheard of game. Earth 2150 is a
revolutionary real time strategy game, that isn't scared of setting
the standard. To get on with the show, its revolutionary in several
ways its using a completely free flowing camera like in Populous The
Beginning. It includes tunnel systems, which when you send a unit
underground you can view what's like a whole new playing field. The
playing area can be customized anyway you like it, by changing
around where the menus and so forth are and you can do things like
split the screen into 3 with one bigger one active. (Active being
you command in this screen) You don't need 3 up all the time but
when attacking and watching your own base it'll be useful. Things
like recording your unit orders then hitting the play button when
you want them to carry them out is a nifty addition to allow
perfectly coordinated battles. Your constructor can alter the
landscape to make trenches to slow the enemy or flatten land for
your units to hast along over. The real time day night cycle makes
interesting points, unlike Tiberian Sun where its day or night the
whole way through, in Earth 2150 while your playing the sun will
rise and set. Weather is also involved In the game, you have rain,
snow which all influence the course of the game, you see the rain
and the snow falling onto your buildings. There are going to be 3
unique races to choose from, they each and different and the same at
the same time. The main themes revolve around the Eurasian Dynasty
using tanks and choppers, while the UCS uses mechs and robotics and
the Lunar Corporation is all into their floating hover units. Your
units are also customizable you build your units from the chassis
up, you select your chassis and weapons amongst other things to customize
your units. Screenshots
