DESCRIPTION:

   The FD1208 volt Battery Charger is designed for charging 12 volt flooded and sealed type batteries.Recharge voltage is set to ensure a full charge is reached. Once the charger reaches it's predetermined voltage (14.7 volts) the charger will automatically switch onto a float maintenance mode (13.8 volts). For batteries not used regularly that need to be maintained, it is recommended charging with a FD Battery Charger every 3 months. Failure to do so may result in sulphation and deterioration to the point of failure of the battery. The battery can be left permanently on charge to ensure full charge when required. Some minor internal deterioration as a result of continual float charging may result.
