Universal Glow Plug Timer

 

DESCRIPTION:

   The GLOW PLUG TIMER is designed to switch the glow plug manifold heating solenoid for enhanced cold starting. It is adjustable from 1 second to 15 seconds. An output is provided to run a dashboard indicator lamp during the heating cycle. If the engine is already hot, turn the ignition key straight to start to deactivate the timer. It also incorporates an afterglow facility to pulse the glow plugs for a period of time to provide easier idling when cold.


FEATURE:
  • L.E.D. mounted in the front panel to indicate that the timer is activated.
  • Adjustment switch mounted in front panel to enable the operator to select the desired heating time(1 sec. to 15 sec) depending on engine temperature.
  • Lamp Output to run an indicator lamp on dashboard during heat cycle.
