RVSTICA AMOROSA

in lode dell'illustre signora, la Signora Vittoria Rustici della Corvara, Gentildonna Romana.

In honour of the illustrious lady, Lady Vittoria Rustici della Corvara, Roman Gentlewoman.

 

 

Stando le persone all'incontro senza pigliar mano, come si dimostra nel disegno di Coppia felice, faranno la Riuerenza graui, & due Continenze, con otto Riprese, quattro alla sinistra, & quattro alla destra; poi faranno due Passi trangati indietro fiancheggiati, à modo di Barriera, con un Seguito ordinario innanzi, principiando col sinistro: li medesimi Passi trangati, & Seguito, faranno un'altra volta per contrario, cioè, principiando col destro, & alla fine del detto Seguito, l'Huomo pigliarà la man'ordinaria della Dama.

  

The people stand facing, without taking hands, as shown in the picture for Coppia Felice, and do a Riverenza grave, and two Continenze, with eight Riprese, four to the left, and four to the right; then they do two Passi trangati flankingly backwards, as in Barriera, with a Seguito ordinario forwards, beginning with the left. They do the same Passi trangati, and Seguito, another time to the other side, that is, beginning with the right, and at the end of the said Seguito the man will take the usual hand of the lady.

 

Nel secondo tempo, passeggiando, faranno quattro Seguiti ordinarij, al fine de' quali l'Huomo porrà la Dama all'incontro senza lasciare la mano, & insieme faranno otto Riprese, quattro alla sinistra, & quattro alla destra: poi tornaranno à fare li medesimi Passi, & Seguito con l'uno & l'altro piede, come fecero nel primo tempo.   In the second figure, progressing, they will do four Seguiti ordinarii, at the end of which the man will put the lady opposite him without releasing hands, and they will do together eight Riprese, four to the left, and four to the right; then they return to do the same Passi, and Seguiti, with one foot and the other, as they did in the first figure

 

Nel terzo tempo, faranno quattro Seguiti ordinarij, due innanzi passando, piegando alquanto le ginocchia al fine di essi, a modo di meza Riuerenza, & gli altri due, cambiando luogo, & voltando alla sinistra: dopo i quali faranno otto Riprese, quattro alla sinistra, & quattro alla destra, con li Passi trangati, & il Seguito con l'uno & l'altro piede, come di sopra.

   In the third figure, they will do four Seguiti ordinarii, two progressing forwards, bending the knees somewhat at the end, in the manner of a meza Riverenza, and another two, exchanging places, and turning to the left. After that they do eight Riprese, four to the left, and four to the right, with the Passi trangati, and Seguito with one foot and the other, as above.

 

All'ultimo Seguito, la Dama con la sua man destra, pigliarà la sinistra dell'Huomo, & guidarà il Ballo, facendo insieme tutto quello che haranno fatto nel secondo tempo; & al fine ogn'uno tornarà al suo luogo, & resteranno all'incontro senza pigliar mano.   In the last Seguito, the lady takes the left hand of the gentleman with her right, and she leads the dance, and they do together all that which they did in the second figure, and at the end each returns to his own place, and they rest facing without taking hands.

Faranno la Riuerenza graue, con quattro Seguiti spezzati volti alla sinistra; la Dama poi andarà doue principiarono il Ballo, & l'Huomo andarà dall'altra parte: oue incontro faranno altri due Seguiti spezzati fiancheggiati; voltando poi il fianco sinistro per dentro, faranno due Riprese, & tre Trabuchetti, principiando col sinistro: all'ultimo de' quali si voltaranno col fianco destro per dentro, & faranno il medesimo, principiando col destro. Dopò  tornaranno à fare li due Passi trangati indietro, & un Seguito innanzi con l'uno & l'altro piede, come di sopra. Finalmente l'Huomo pigliarà la man'ordinaria della Dama, & finiranno il Ballo, facendo insieme la Riuerenza.   They do the Riverenza grave, with four Seguiti spezzati turning to the left; then the lady goes to where she began the dance, and the man goes to the other side: where facing they do another two Seguiti spezzati flankingly; turning then the left flank inwards, they do two riprese, and three Trabuchetti, beginning with the left. At the end of this they turn the right flank inwards, and do the same, beginning with the right. Then they return to do the two Passi trangati backwards, and a Seguito forwards with one foot and the other, as above. Finally the man takes the usual hand of the lady, and they end the ballo, doing together the Riverenza.
